'The Ministry of Abandoned Atmospheres' considers items of jewellery and scent as evocative tools.
Their voluminous book, entitled Recollection #1, comprises an inventory of abandoned atmospheres: your grandparent's bathroom with their eighties products, a café where people still smoke inside, a pink dollhouse that smells like sweet plastic..

Scents dwell in one's subconscious, attached to moments lived. In like manner, jewellery pieces anchor memories, sustain relationships, carry our thoughts, beliefs, feelings and fantasies.

The book documents the nostalgic histories embodied in 68 jewellery pieces, and 6 scents. Each of these artefacts is placed next to the atmospheres they evoke, welcoming loose connections and gentle associations.
